UCMAS announces Grading Examinations every year. These vary from regular assessment tests held at the end of each level and also the National Competition held every year. The Grading Examination is an International Standard Examination set by the UCMAS Global Principal Office in Malaysia. It provides evaluation of UCMAS students relative to the Standard Global Market for UCMAS. Each student is assessed and graded individually based on the Standard Grading System which is accredited by the Zhusuan Abacus Association of China.
Objectives: The Grading Examinations aim to:
- Elevate academic standard of Abacus Reckoning and Mental Arithmetic in India
- Advocate learning of Abacus Reckoning and Mental Arithmetic in order to enhance mental capability and
- Affirm one’s capability in Abacus Reckoning and Mental Arithmetic.
All Certificates are issued by UCMAS HQ Malaysia in collaboration with The Chinese Zhusuan Association.
Endorsement of Certificate by The Chinese (China) Zhusuan Association will be only for Ordinary Grade 10 to Grade 1 papers for both Mental Arithmetic and Abacus Reckoning examinations.
All students who have passed the Abacus Reckoning examination for Ordinary Grade 11 and Grade 12 papers will receive the certificates endorsed by the National Association of UCMAS Abacus and Mental Arithmetic.
UCMAS has most revered presence in more than 60 countries of the World including India. The Indian HQ is based at Vadodara. With International Headquarters located in MALAYSIA, UCMAS holds an International Grading Competition (IGE) every year at a venue in Malaysia where National Best UCMAS students vie for International Honors. Indian students from UCMAS have done beautifully well at the Competition and CBS in particular has won accolades for prominence of their students shining at this event.
